James William Grace

James William Grace, Sr., age 73, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, July 4, 1940, the son of Leo Joseph and Dorothy Veronica (Byrnes) Grace, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by one son, James W. Grace, Jr. and his wife, Theresa of Riverside, California; one daughter, Deborah Lynn Grace of Westminster, California; one sister, Maureen Noel of Long Beach, California; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and a special friend, Judy Reynolds.
Jim grew up and received his education in California. He attended college at Long Beach before entering the United States Navy in 1958. He served his country until 1964, when he was honorably discharged. He worked as a self-employed machinist. Jim moved to Shell Knob six years ago. He liked to trap shoot, fish, hunt, collect antiques and bowl. He was a member of White River Valley Shooting Association (WRVSA). James was of the Catholic faith.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob, Missouri. Burial will be in Lake Park Memorial Gardens, Shell Knob.
